PROJECT FOUNDERS AND STAFF:
Reforestation of Northern Khentii is a completely locally created and managed project, and all of our senior staff are Mongolians living in the town of Umnudelger. Some of our supporting staff are from Ulaanbaatar and from abroad.

Muun Bagsh (Muun Teacher) is the recenty retired principal of the school in Umnudelger, and he is the director of our supporting NGO, the Enlightenment Informal Education Center. He is a nationally recognized teacher, who has lived and worked in our town for over 30 years. He has great influence in the community and is managing the local operation of the reforestation project.

Burenkhishig is an ecology and biology teacher at our school. For the summer of 2006, she has been invited to serve as a reforestation expert for the Khaan Khentii Strictly Protected Area, where our nursery is located, and she will act as an advisor for our reforestation efforts.

Bogi is an English teacher in the school at Umnudelger, and he is the original creator of the RNK project. He has previously worked as a translator for the Cultural Restoration Tourism Project working in Khentii until 2005. Bogi has initiated RNK's own volunteer tourism program, and he manages our camp and tour operations.

Originally from Umnudelger, Baatarsukh works for the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Ulaanbaatar. He is currently seeking funding and support for our project from the Mongolian government.
- Barbara Goss
- Foreign Volunteers Representative

Barbara is a Canadian volunteer working at the Khentii Bag camp in the summers and supporting RNK from Toronto in the off-season. She will graduate from the International Project Management Program (Humber College) in summer 2008 and will subsequently intern with RNK, working on project design and planning.
N.B. None of our listed staff are salaried, and all proceeds from our service-vacations go towards employing our local work crew and buying supplies for the reforestation project.
